I am planning on my twenties being pretty wild. The majority of my college will happen while I am in my twenties so I plan on getting my education but also living it up while I am still young. I will probably graduate when I am twenty two and I will be looking to get a job that generates good income. I want to live either near the beach or near mountains. Throughout my 20’s I plan on working hard and earning money, and in my free time I plan on traveling and experiencing the world. There are many places I would like to go and see. I would like to make trips to various countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. Aside from traveling I am just going to live life, party, and let the good times roll. After I have put all the traveling and partying behind me, I will be ready to settle down. I will stop spending my money on exotic vacations and start saving for retirement and starting a family. I would like to get married sometime around twenty-six or twenty-eight. And enjoy the married life a couple years before I start having kids around twenty-nine or thirty. I am planning to have a large family with two or three children.
Current Event Blog: Six Year Old Brings Gun to School
In this article a young boy, 6 years old, brought a gun to his school and the gun went off when it fell out of his pocket. No students was hit directly by the guns fire but 3 students received cuts on their legs from bullet/floor fragments caused by the guns discharge.
This article makes me think that nowhere is safe these days. You would think that an elementary school would be a very safe place, considering all the students are very young. However kids are being exposed to violence at an earlier age these days through video games and television. I think that the kid who brought the gun to school didn’t know any better and that the parents of the child or the ones at fault. They should be monitoring and controlling what their child is being exposed to at their house. Kids probably shouldn’t be watching violent shows or playing violent video games until they are old enough to realize the consequences of their actions. The parents should also check their student’s backpacks before they leave for school each day. Lastly, this article makes me think that all schools should add more security features to their campuses, such as metal detectors and surveillance cameras.

Spring break is very important to college kids because it allows them to take a much need break from their studies. Sometimes college gets to be over whelming with the pressure from all the homework, exams and high expectations from themselves and parents. Spring break allows college students take a week off from all the pressure and work of school. They can hang out with friends and do all the things they want to in a stress free environment. Also it’s a good time to visit with old friends and family that you haven’t seen since students have left for high school.
On my spring break I went home to Merritt Island, FL and got to hang out with all my buddies that I hadn’t seen since high school. It was fun to hang out with them and hear what they been doing with themselves in college. Just about every day we would ride out to a less populated beach and have a party on the beach. During these days at the beach we would play cornhole, bocce ball and take turns going out on the kayaks and surfboards. The second half of spring break I spent with my girlfriend who is going to school in Tennessee. While in Tennessee we went fishing and rock hopping in the river near her school.

It seems that many changes are coming to colleges and universities in the near future. According to my article there are nine different changes that are inevitably coming and I’m sure many other changes will come as well. Of the nine changes listed in my article I think the most interesting point is the types of universities. It says there will be “brick” universities like the traditional ones we have today; and there will also be the “click ” universities that are the new virtual schools that are arising today. My article says that the type that students find most desirable will be a combination of click and brick universities that allows students to complete the courses at their own pace and at their convenience while also giving the students the college atmosphere of living in dorms and having the college social interaction.
I added two photos that I feel really describe me as a person. I posted the picture of me and two of my friends on the beach because I love hanging out with my friends and I love being outside, especially at the beach. The second picture is one of me and most my best friends from high school. These kids are like brothers too me and also baseball is one of my favorite pastime/ hobbies.
A viral video is a video that gains popularity through the internet. Someone will post a clip on their blog or a video sharing web site and word of the video will spread by word of mouth, email, or search engines. There are hundreds of viral videos on the internet today. There are many ways a video can become viral. Most often it is because the video is very funny and people like to watch it over and over and show their friends who then show their friends until finally everyone knows about it. Videos can also become viral by being unusually gross, or if their addressing a serious topic that a lot of people want to hear about. A lot of things have contributed to the rise of viral videos. For one, video cameras have allowed people to post their home made videos onto the internet for anyone to see. Also sites such as youtube.com and facebook have allowed people to post videos for all their friends and the whole world to see. Viral videos have given normal people the opportunity to get their 15 minutes of fame because literally just about anyone could make a viral video. All you need is a video camera and a bright idea, or maybe just catch some candid footage of your mom, sister, friend or whoever doing something funny or embarrassing.
I posted this video because it makes me laugh every time I see it… I like how even after he knocks himself out he tries to get up and keep doing his karate moves.
